Bio
Jenn Doering is a member of Danna McKitrick’s litigation department. She concentrates her practice in bankruptcy as well as civil and commercial litigation.
Bankruptcy. As a member of the firm’s bankruptcy and creditor’s rights practice group, Jenn represents debtors and creditors in both formal bankruptcies and informal financial workouts.
Jenn routinely represents creditors and creditors' committees seeking to maximize their return in bankruptcy and similar situations. She also serves as counsel for Tom DeWoskin, a bankruptcy trustee, in the administration of bankruptcy cases.
Jenn represents individuals and corporations in bankruptcy filings under Chapters 7, 11 and 13.
In representing debtors, Jenn strives to avoid bankruptcy when possible through informal workouts and other alternative resolutions. When bankruptcy is a debtor’s best solution, Jenn works closely with creditors and other parties to the bankruptcy to make the process as painless as possible.
Litigation. Whether handling matters for clients engaged in active litigation or evaluating the possibility, Jenn represents individuals and businesses in state and federal courts. Her work includes health care, banking, and general corporate matters, as well as assisting on several high-profile pension funding cases.
