Danna McKitrick Adds Litigation and Transactional Associates

Danna McKitrick, P.C. has announced the addition of Katherine M. Flett and Brian C. Zaldivar to the firm as associates. Their additions expand both the transactional and litigation groups, especially in the areas of estate planning, business law, general civil and commercial litigation, and insurance defense.

As a member of the litigation department, Katherine Flett will be working primarily on matters relating to business, civil, and commercial disputes. Flett holds a J.D. cum laude from University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law and graduated Order of the Coif (2015). She was an associate of The Journal of Dispute Resolution and a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society. She graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. from Lindenwood University (2012) where she was a three-year recipient of the Scholar Athlete Award for softball. She is admitted to practice in Missouri and the U.S. District Courts, the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri and the Southern District of Illinois.

Brian Zaldivar is a member of the transactional law team, assisting clients with matters related to business transactions and estate planning. He has additional experience related to corporate law, real estate, homeowner associations and community management associations, and discovery. He earned his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law (2015) where he was a post-graduate fellow and a student attorney with the school’s legal clinic. He served as a legal extern with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in New York City. A graduate of Elon University (2012) with a B.A. in political science, Zaldivar served as ROTC – Phoenix Company Commander and was President and Company Commander of Scabbard & Blade National Honor Society and a member of Kappa Alpha Order. Zaldivar is a member of the U.S. Army Reserves. He is admitted to practice in Missouri.
