The law firm of Danna McKitrick, P.C., is pleased to announce the election of David A. Zobel to the position of principal, effective January 1, 2018. Zobel assists clients with business and litigation matters, primarily in the areas of contract, banking, insurance, real estate, trust and probate litigation, and professional liability and surety defense.
Zobel has experience representing clients in both the trial and appellate courts. Along with Danna McKitrick attorney Jeffrey R. Schmitt, Zobel wrote the brief in Naylor Senior Citizens Housing, LP, et al. v. Sides Construction Company, Inc., et al., a case in which their client prevailed before the Missouri Supreme Court. The case clarified the restrictions imposed upon business entities appearing before Missouri courts.
Zobel is a member of the Board of Adjustment for the City of Olivette and the Clayton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and serves as trustee of his homeowner’s association.Zobel earned his J.D., cum laude, from Saint Louis University School of Law, where he was staff editor of the Journal of Health Law and Policy. He graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a B.A. in political science and a minor in leadership and public service.
