News and Events

Frederick M. Switzer
Fred joined Danna McKitrick as a principal in 1992, with over 20 years’ prior experience in litigation, labor, employment, and transactional law. His representation includes both individuals and businesses—from small, privately-held to Fortune 500.

Litigation. Fred’s experience includes cases before the U.S. Supreme Court; state, federal, and appellate courts in multiple-states; as well as administrative agencies such as NLRB, EEOC, and the Missouri and Kansas Human Rights Commissions.

His substantial experience as a litigator convinced Fred there are more expeditious, economical, and satisfactory methods of resolving disputes. As such, he focuses his practice on arbitration and alternative dispute resolution as a neutral mediator.

Alternative Dispute Resolution - Mediation. Since 1995, he’s mediated many disputes, both before and after litigation commenced. These include employment, wage and hour, real estate, landlord-tenant, personal injury, and civil dispute cases—by both court and private referral. Cases have been referred by the ADR programs of the US Department of Labor and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Employment and Labor Law. For over 30 years, Fred has represented employers in the resort/hotel, wholesale, retail, manufacturing, grocery, securities, and service industries.

Fred serves as a Disciplinary Hearing Officer for the Supreme Court of Missouri.
