Ronald
N. Danna
Ron Danna is the senior principal of the firm in charge of Danna McKitrick’s transactional practice group which encompasses all areas of the firm’s services to the business community. He is also the firm’s leading estate planning
attorney. His law career spans 35 years.
Across multiple industries, he represents business owners and executives in
almost any sort of business matter. Ron most frequently serves closely-held and family-owned businesses. For many business owners and executives, he also handles their personal legal needs including advice and transactions for taxes, trusts, estate plans, and other personal affairs.
Closely-held and Family-owned Businesses. Small to midsized businesses comprise the backbone of U.S. enterprise and the bulk of Ron’s business clientele. He is involved in day-to-day operations and transactions as well as succession planning. For most, he is their “outsourced” general counsel; just a phone call away.
Manufacturing. Ron meets the legal needs of manufacturing businesses and their distributors. He is intimately familiar with the myriad of issues these
businesses face and he knows countless potential strategies for protecting and advancing their operations.
Transportation. Ron has extensive experience with the many intricacies and
nuances of the motor carrier business and transportation law through his long history serving the industry. For a mid-sized fuel hauling company, he has provided legal counsel for over 30 years and further contributes to the organization as a director on their board—a position he has held for over 20 years.
Estate Planning. Ron’s strong taxation background enhances his will, trust and estate practice techniques. He believes that most estate plans should revolve around some form of living trust. He works with trusts from their creation through their administration and distribution phases. No estate is too small or too large to benefit from Ron’s experience.
Ron served in the U.S. Army from 1964-1966 during which he achieved the rank of Captain.
