James
G. Baalmann, Jr.
As Danna McKitrick’s firm administrator, Jim is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm’s operations including human resources, information technology systems, financial operations, facilities, and the myriad of day-to-day management concerns that arise. He is also involved in marketing as well as strategic and long-term planning.
Jim joined Danna McKitrick in 1997 and has, in particular, driven the firm’s increased use of technology resulting in newly expanded resources and greater efficiencies in delivery of the firm’s services. Jim also greatly enhanced performance reporting including areas that were previously difficult to detect or measure.
Jim began working in the legal field while earning his M.B.A. when he assisted a solo practitioner in the start-up of his law practice in 1992.
The following year, he joined another firm as their first professional administrator.
Early in his career, Jim was involved in the recruitment and staffing management for a health care agency. He also counseled adolescents and children at an inpatient psychiatric treatment facility.
