James A. Borchers Contributes to Saint Charles Business Magazine

DANNA MCKITRICK ATTORNEY TO AUTHOR BI-MONTHLY LEGAL ARTICLES

St. Louis, MO – Danna McKitrick principal James A. Borchers is a newly featured contributor to Saint Charles Business Magazine in the publication’s Legally Speaking section. His column focuses on a range of legal topics beginning with a December 2008 article on insurance and liability issues for commercial leases.

In addition to practicing law, Borchers teaches adult education classes in starting/buying a new business and estate planning for the St. Charles School District Adult Education Program and at St. Charles Community College, where he also serves on the Foundation board of directors.

Borchers earned his LL.M. in Taxation from Washington University School of Law, his J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law, and his B.A. from Valparaiso University. One of the few franchise attorneys in eastern Missouri, his practice also includes forming new businesses, buying and selling businesses, commercial real estate, and non-profit associations. He serves as executive director and general counsel for national trade associations including the Concrete Anchor Manufacturers’ Association and the Powder Actuated Tool Manufacturers’ Institute.
