bustling business district is home to seventy Forbes and

Originally
settled by Pierre Laclede and August Choteau in 1764, St. Louis
is most famously known as the Gateway to the West
the
launching point for early explorers and westward emigrants. Any
history buff will find years' worth of places to visit and things
to see in the vicinity.
St.
Louis' charm ranges from the blues clubs of the historic Soulard
district, to the cobble-stoned streets of the mighty Mississippi
downtown
riverfront, to our lovely Forest Park, developed at the turn of
the century
to draw and awe attendees of the 1904 World's Fair. With winding
trails for runners, bikers and skaters, a public golf course, several
ponds, streams and lots of resident wild life, Forest Park still
hosts exciting festivities such as the great hot air balloon race
and international festivals. The park is also home to a popular
outdoor amphitheater featuring stage productions all summer long,
one of the nation's last free zoos, and a terrific museum.
St.
Louis is notorious for being a proud sports city boasting the Rams,
Blues, and the Cardinals. Fans are excited about the opening of our brand new downtown sports complex! With many rivers,
lakes, rolling hills, and wooded areas, Missouri and Illinois also
offer tremendous options for outdoor sports lovers who enjoy boating,
fishing, hiking, hunting, river rafting, and camping.
St.
Louis is a great place to live and work!
